Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur every year in the month of January.
It is for the two year full-time management programmes at XLRI, Jsr and Delhi. It is also accepted by 150 other b-schools including SPJIMR, XIMB, IMT-G, XIME, TAPMI and others.
XAT is an online exam.
Exam duration – 9:30 am to12:30 am
XAT exam pattern–
1. Verbal & Logical Ability: 26 Questions
2. Decision Making: 22 Questions
3. Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation: 27 Questions
4. General Knowledge: 25 Questions
Sections 1 to 3 are taken for percentile computation.
One can move between sections in XAT exam.
Students have a choice of not attempting 12 questions. Beyond this, any un-attempted question will carry the negative mark of 0.05. The negative marking for incorrect response is 0.25.
